Recurring series

Recurring series

Set up your Tuesday/Thursday pattern once and it generates dates through the season. Paddlers sign up for each date separately, which is deliberate: you get a real headcount per session rather than a season-long assumption. Tell your crew this in week one. It’s the single most common misunderstanding.

Your events page lists Recurring series above the dated events. That’s where you change when a series stops, or clear the end date so it keeps running. Open a series to edit the rule itself.

Dates are generated about 60 days ahead. A series ending in September will not show September dates in June, and that’s working correctly. The series card shows both the last generated date and the end date so you can tell the two apart.

An empty calendar doesn’t mean the series has finished. Check the end date on the series card before you rebuild anything.

Deleting or moving a generated date sticks. A date you delete stays deleted; the nightly generator won’t put it back.
